Help please!! 10 minute presentation on audit

Can anyone help me please? I have to give a 10 min presentation on how audit can improve patient care and enhance performance. Ive never given a presentation before and im really scared!

Hi – this is going to sound rude but I don’t mean it to be: it’s what I tell everyone on our presentations training courses after all! Don’t worry (yet) about the presentation. A presentation is a means, not an end in itself.

Worry first about the content and what you want to say. Only when you know that can be you begin to worry about your actual presentation. Think of the content as a really, really good whisky and the presentation as the glass – no one should notice the glass if the content is good… it’s only there to get the contents from one place to another (that is, to your audience’s head).
