Image Sizes

Hi everyone,

Totally new to Power Point

I will be using it to make product presentations which will be recorded by screen recorder probably Camtasia and then put onto my blogs, websites, you tube etc etc

The first problem I have come up against is when adding a 200x300 pixel image to a slide it reduces it to a much smaller size automatically

Is there a way of keeping the original image size instead of having to resize them each time?

I am using the insert picture option and then selecting a picture from a folder

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Mel

It sounds like there might be a picture box placeholder in your slide which is smaller than your photo, so when you insert the picture, it resizes it to fit the small box. One thing you can try is to delete any boxes that are on your layout,
and then try inserting your picture. See if it puts it in at the right size.

Another solution: Instead of inserting the image, you can copy and paste it from Photoshop right into PowerPoint. If you do that, the picture will not resize.
