how to make a youtube video with both powerpoint slides and video

Hi all,

I want to make a series of youtube lectures. I don't know how to synchronise my powerpoint slides with the video of me talking. I would like to possibly make the video around a quarter of the size of the youtube video with the rest taken over by the slides. my video would probably sit on the top left or right hand corner.

I don't know where to start.
Any ideas anybody.

I could possibly record the lectures using a webcam and use the prepared slides to give the lecture but then I would need to somehow superimpose myself on to the slides and make a video that would have the correct slides changing as I speak.

any help would be appreciated. I am at a total loss.
