Why this job for me? Why me for this job?

Hi,

I need to do a five minute presentation of the topic of "Why this job for me? Why me for this job?" for a development officer job.

Do you have any ideas on how to make a good impression?

Thanks

Only you can answer why this job is for me.

For the why me for the job is much easier. Get some feedback from your exisiting or previous colleagues, bosses or customers about your strengths – particularly in relation to the job that you are going for.

Then present three of your key strengths at interview. You can then start by saying "other people tell me that my strengths are…" …"For example John Smith said that…"

It is a lot more impactful when you get feedback about you from other people. You can then play to your strengths.

This all takes a lot more effort and time, but the results can be very much worth it.
