Presentation ideas?

I need to do a 5 min powerpoint presentation for a job interview on marketing a new product in Northern Ireland. The problem is I have no ideas at all! A friend of mine recently did one for the same job on importing and marketing chinese wine into northern ireland due to the large chinese population there. I need to do something similar to this but cant think what would be good and slightly different.
I’d appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

I presume that you are looking for ideas on what the ficticious product could be?

– Ceramic tiles to go in posh kitchens
– Ethnic paintings from South America
– Space pens
– Water purifiers
– Extra sharp surgical saws
– Smothies or smoothie makers
– A new generation cleaning fluid
– Speed detector radars

please could you give me some pointers on how to deliver a presentation 5mins and have 20 mins prior interview to prepare topic i dont know what on
should i go for a aims topic summary kind of delivery?? HELP

Thanks for the message. It seems to be a worrying trend in not giving people time to prepare.

In brief two main suggestions

1. Ask your self in preparation what are the three points that you would like to leave them with on the topic that they have asked you to prepare. Then simply prepare the presentation against that

2. Take in some A4 paper so that you could sketch out a three "slides" that you can show to them. If you can make your presentation visual – yu will have a better chance of achieving your objectives.

3. Also think in advance about what the presentation topic would likely be. Odds on it will be one of the following topics – or variations on the theme
– "What are your best strengths/ weaknesses"
– "What would you bring to the job/ why do you want the job"
– "What would you do in the first 90 days of the job"
– "Present back to us about our company or our market"

I you have prepared these topics that you may well be in a better position with the presentation.
