Default Master of Ceremonies

I have been asked by our company (corporate) to be the MC for an upcoming leaders forum. There will be 150 - 200 people there and its for two days. The agenda for the two days looks a bit dry and I want to liven it up and make it fun. I have no experience in this area of being an MC but have spoken in small groups (informally). I am one of the few women that work for this company in the technical side (may be why they asked me). The industry is Electrical Power. Any tips you have in livening it up would be greatly appreciated.

There are a number of ways to liven up the day.

A couple of suggestions would be

- to introduce an ice breaker. There is another thread with a couple of examples at http://www.presentationhelper.co.uk...thread.php?t=89

- consider hiring a motivational speaker. They can often help the day to move along. There are a couple of good speakers that I can recommend. Please drop me an email if you would like more details

I hope that this helps
