Default Making it fun

Hi,

Myself and a couple of colleagues have to do a presentation on our roles at work - we are only administrators and are looking at ways in which we can tell an audience about our jobs without boring them to death - have you any
ideas of giving a presentation to a small group of people which could be done in way that will be fun and can get the audience involved rather than us standing in front of everyone, as a couple of them are nervous about presenting.

Many thanks.

If you want to make you presentation more memorable then you need to make it either more visual - or more interactive - or both.

A good way of doing this will either be to use PowerPoint pictures or to use props.

Get the audience guessing.

You could put up three of four pictures or put out three objects on a table and ask the audience what they have in common. Or you could us objects to help to tell the story of your job.

Another way to involve the audience is to play a game. The easiest ones are to copy a game from TV like "Who wants to be a millionaire" or "Have I got news for you" This way the audience will already know the rules.

I hope that this may provide a few pointers - if you are still stuck please drop me a line - but I will be away until the weekend.
