New Release of PowerPoint Shrinking Software Unveiled by TopByteLabs

PowerShrink 2.0 Compresses PowerPoint Presentations Up to 95%, While Keeping Full Functionality and File Format of the PowerPoint Presentation

PowerShrink Allows E-mail Transfers of Big PowerPoint Presentations After ‘Shrinking,’ Accelerates Data Transfers and Saves Data Storage and Costs

TopByteLabs, one of the leading providers of content-compression software for Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, released an updated version of PowerShrink. With compression rates of up to 95 percent PowerShrink 2.0 not only allows users to send critical business presentations, despite their large size, it also gives them the opportunity to save a lot of Megabytes and, in some cases, even Gigabytes of storage on their Servers.

PowerShrink 2.0 runs without PowerPoint installed. The compression works by utilizing an automatically generated copy that does not place the original file at risk. The average rate of compression is 62 percent, peaking at 95 percent. Three compression levels "normal, extra and high quality" also meet the needs of the user to find an optimal balance between quality and compression. The presentation still has the same quality as the original file.

"In today’s marketplace, sending the information instantly to people and places that matter most is key to delivering a winning experience and PowerShrink 2.0 is a fundamental component of enabling this convergence," says Michael Weber, CEO of TopByteLabs.

New features of PowerShrink 2.0 are a customizable toolbar, a Windows Shell Extension and a more stable and reliable compression, including improved picture quality. PowerShrink 2.0 is compatible with nearly all Microsoft OS Versions, XP, 2000 and NT. Above all, it is compatible with almost all PowerPoint files, versions 97, 2000, XP and 2003.

It is part of TopByteLabs’ vision to give users the ability to send Microsoft PowerPoint presentations via e-mail, no matter how large their original presentations are, so they can focus more time on pursuing other business objectives.
