Links to another slide

Hi All,

wondering if someone can help me. I have a presentation with numerous slides and on some pages I require a link that wehn clicked on will bring up a picture, however this picture isn't a slide within the presentation. The only way I can do it at the moment is have it as the next slide but that slide is displayed when I have finished with the slide that has the link on i.e. I don't want it ot apprar twice. I know this can be done, I recently went on a course and it was one of the features of the presentation.

The trick is to use something within powerpoint called "custom shows" and "hidden slides"

You create a 'custom show' for each of your pictures
You then add an 'action setting' to your slide, that 'jumps' to the 'custom show' and then 'returns' from whence it came.
