How about..."Politics on College Campuses"?

Hi there,
whilst recently writing persuasive speeches. i found the two topics that i enjoyed, and have alot of public oppinion, were Abortion and anout Diana Princess of Wales.

Both of these topics are in the link above, but are ones i found people over a broader spectrum could assosiate with.

At the moment my class are doing speeches too. We're in year 8 and my friend got to do her practise speech on abortion. You should do a persuasive speech like me it'll get your message through to people =]

If you can, always try to pick a topic that is close to your heart when it comes to giving a persuasive speech. Failing that, choose something along the lines of;

-the negative influence of violent video games on youth culture.
-the justification (or non-justification) of capital punishment.
