Apple launches iWork 8 with Keynote update

Keynote 8

PowerPoint’s alter ego Keynote has been updated in Apple’s recent revamp of its iWork Software. Since there is still no native version of PowerPoint for Intel Macs, and since Microsoft’s Office 2004 runs like an injured snail on the new Macs under Rosetta, iWork and particularly Keynote may be worth considering for your presentations.

iWork has always been a good alternative to Microsoft Office, a great reason for PC owners to switch over to Macs, it’s also a fraction of the price of Microsoft’s offering, so improvements can only be good news.
So what changes have been made in this latest update? In his excellent blog Julianschrader gives us a quick run through of the updates.
