What is the deal about people only being able to remember 3 topics. I’ve seen that repeated numerous times on this forum, but never anywhere else. What does that really mean.

Are they on the e-net, TV, newpapers or in books?

I just like hearing qoutes from people, I really like quotes from people like Confuses.

The basic idea is that when you are talking to someone or making a presentation you cannot expect the people sitting there to remember more than 3 things in a list. Kind of like when you go to the grocery store for a few things and you get there and can’t remember the last item. Or despite how funny a comedian might be for an hour show, you only remember 3 or 4 bits to tell your friends the next day.

The goal here is to avoid swamping your audience with a hundred facts. You won’t be able to control which ones they remember. Give them 3 or 4 important ones and they will all go home remembering the same things.

Help im working for young scot and will sooon be doing various workshop presentations and although i know im doing i cant seem to script what im gonna say can you help
