The rule of three
Lots of feedback about the rule of three.
Here are some of the latest comments Winstom Churchill in his famous speech said "I can promise you Blood, Sweat, Toil and Tears" This is actually a list of 4 items, but because we can only remember three things – this is usually remembered as "Blood, Sweat and Tears" |

A good example of the Rule of Thee is the way that George W Bush used the Three ‘F’s – Family, Faith and Flag in tyhe election campaign. In fact he used it in nearly all of his speeches, and it is very easily memorable.
It is widely through that this concentration on a rule of three may have been enough to swing victory in his favour. |

Quote:
Are you sure you’re quoting it right? Because I think it ought to be: "…I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat." Does the rule of three explain the re-arrangement of the words "tears" and "sweat"? Probably not so there’s perhaps another explanation: the saying doesn’t come from Churchills speech it was either there before or wasn’t remember until some one else said it the way it’s commonly used today: "Blood , sweat and tears". |

Presentation
I believe its best to use audio visual because it saves your presentation time and allow time for questions and you will talk less.
The rule of three even makes things better. You dont have to bring a variety of information that people wont remember. Having 3 facts actually help you to speak clearly about your facts as they are few and easy to remember. Lastly, rehearse, rehearse, rehearse! Sometimes its this helps you to get rid of your nervousness. You will learn to be more comfortable to present. |
