my loving nan
Hi all i would like to ask anyones opinion on this poem I have written for my nan, I have to read it in church on monday and I am a bit scared is it ok?
![]() We sat and watched you for a while With tearful eyes we tried to smile Knowing that it would be our last We’d think of memories from the past. Although its time for you to go There’s something that I want you to know You’re now our angel up above Sunshine skies filled with love With manicured nails and painted toes You’ll help us out with all our woes. You fought long and hard with all your will But now its time to be with Bill. Now your at peace its good to say We’ll live to fight another day So now its time to say goodnight Because we know the time is right. In memory of a Mother, Sister, Nan and friend Time will heal and hearts will mend. |
