ARgH!! Slide Show Music Wo's
I have put together a great "slide show" of pictures for my boss to take with him to different speaking engagements. I have put music (an mP3 file) to play throughout the show - and it works PERFECTLY on my computer, but when I send it to anyone to view on their computers, the sound is obsolete. I have done lots of research and vaguely understand "linking" vs. "embedding" - but I cannot figure out how to make it so I can just attach this presentation within an email and have my other colleagues able to listen to it. I know this can be done, because i have received several picture slide shows that as soon as you double click from your outlook (they are .pps files), it immediately starts the slide show WITH music. How do I achieve this same goal? PLEASE HELP. I'm at my wits end.

Did you "Pack and Go" all the related files. Using File from the top toolbar then Pack and Go option. It could be that the presentation does not know the path to your sound file once the two are sent. Are they in the same folder? If possible post a sample of both and lets see we can help from there. You can ambed wav files esily by changing the default size limit.
mp3 files cannot normally be embedded without a little ingenuity! Both (and more) are in the sound tutorials here:Sounds in PowerPoint Tutorials
