Slide Layouts in PowerPoint 2003

Is it possible to customise/create new slide layouts in PowerPoint 2003?

I believe it's possible in 2007 but I cannot find how to do this (if at all?) in 2003.

Andy,

You are correct - powerpoint 2007 (at last) gives the option to create your very own layouts.

Unfortunately it's not possible in ppt 2003. However, you can create individual 'ready made' slide of your chosen layout in powerpoint 2003. Then just "duplicate" the slide before you edit it. Giving a Pseudo new layout feature
