Hello!

I'm glad to read that you would like to become a trainer permanently -it's a great job to choose but as you'll have gathered already its not without its bug bears!

I don't think anyone can write this for you because we don't know what motivates you to train and would you want someone else's thoughts to be your presentation? I don't think so.
First things first - you need to clear your mind a relax while you think of the basis for your presentation.

You have plenty of time to put this together so you can plan this out a little bit each day and the way I would do this is:

1) Ask yourself - What made you apply for that secondment in the first place? Maybe it was because you had been trained by some excellent trainers who made you think "I'd love to do that job because...."

2) Think about the times when you have been training and felt really motivated, satisfied, challenged and or adrenalin rush/buzz happening inside you....

Then ask yourself...what made me feel this way?

It might be that you love to teach - that you feel good about passing on your knowledge and experience and that you enjoy learning from other people as well.

3) Be honest! Talk straight from the heart, most of us trainers are in the job because of a reason - for me personally it's seeing the look on a learners face who at the start of the day thought "I cannot do this" and then they get to the end and say "Yes! I did it!" and knowing that I helped them achieve this.
Some people for example in call centres want to train because it takes them off the phones or the shop floor....well to me thats not a good reason - I would never ask or teach anyone to do anything I wasn't prepared to do myself!

Another idea you could do is for the rest of the week each day write down - "I enjoyed today because........" you may see a pattern emerging here that will help you realise why you want to be a trainer permanently.

Hope this helps to give you an idea of how to start - once you do you'll have loads of ideas!

Good Luck and enjoy it!
