transition and animation 'on click'

i do not want my powerpoint presentation to move to the next slide on the click of the mouse. therefore i have deselected the 'on click' option in the slide transition menu.

i have created a specific button which users will be able to click on in order to go to the next slide.

this all works fine

the problem now is that i have animations within the slides which require a click to start... but since changing the transition i cannot get the animations to play on click.

is there a way of getting animations to play on click but not having slide transition on click?

thankyou cheryl@lfee.net

yes, why don't you set the timing of the slide transition? i'm sure that it will work ...

best of luck for your ppt, and hope it works!! i'm making a similar ppt as well!

See "On click animation with on click transition disabled or kiosk mode on"
