PPT 2003 Slide Transitions YES … Animations NO:

Greetings,

I use PPT 2003 and have no problem inserting slide transitions into my current presentation. Each transition automatically previews when selected and a transition icon appears below each slide in Slide Sorter view.

However, when I try adding slide animations into the same presentation, nothing happens. No preview. No slide sorter animation icon. Not even a screen blink. Nothing. What gives?

Does the manner in which I physically compiled the presentation matter? What I did was first create blank slides in the presentation. I then opened an individual slide from another directories. I did a Select All … then copied and pasted it into a blank presentation slide. I repeated this process for each slide.

Again … what gives please … and how can I work around this? Many thanks.
