Transitions problem

Dear all,
I have a ppt presentation with timed transitions. It works absolutely fine.
But if I add a button to the last slide to go back to the first one when pressed, when I press it transitions aren't applied anymore (the first slide is shown and nothing else happens).
Any suggestion?

Have you ensured your presentation is set to loop until 'esc' is hit?
