Size of slide show is 55 megs..too much

My daughter, God bless her, has asked me to do a slide show with a track of music. I've done it all ok but the file size is 53 megs.....there are 55 photos. Is there anything I can do to reduce the size of the slide show, or do I have to go back and compress all the photos? Any help...please. Thanks Paul

try making sure the images are not BMP's (convert them to Jpgs etc), in terms of the music, make sure that is in a compressed format like mp3.

Have seen powerpoint bulid lots of extra space inside it, copy paste of the original show can get rid of the bloat
